I have been practicing professionally and exhibiting actively for over 30 years. My work has been exhibited across Canada and internationally.
I began my studies in architecture, then focused on drawing and painting during my undergraduate degree at York University. After completing my Master’s degree at the San Francisco Art Institute I focused on installation, video and photography.
I have taught at the Ontario College of Art and Design University, University of Guelph, Queen’s University, University of Toronto Continuing Studies, Toronto School of Art, the San Francisco Art Institute and in the Art and Art History Department at Sheridan College joint with University of Toronto Mississauga. For over 5 years I coordinated the studio intensive, post-degree program at Toronto School of Art, leading group seminars as well as mentoring a student in the program each term.
I have been an admissions juror for both secondary and post secondary programs, a juror for provincial artist grants and an examiner for 5 Master of Fine Arts thesis defenses and an external advisor for 3 MFA candidates.
